Roles and Responsibilities

• Monitor central computing resources to ensure high performance and availability
• Provide 24×7 production support in a rotational team setup
• Recommend and implement hardware and software upgrades
• Consult application and database teams regarding OS and hardware environments
• Create documentation for daily operational processes
• Collaborate with clients and internal technical teams
• Plan and execute infrastructure upgrades
• Diagnose complex system failures and coordinate with vendors for resolution
• Mentor junior team members on system operations
• Manage hosting servers and maintain infrastructure stability
• Audit and secure servers to ensure high availability, security, and performance

Required Skills

• 1+ year of relevant experience in Linux system administration
• Strong troubleshooting skills for networking products and server environments
• Experience managing Linux systems with networking
• Exposure to AWS cloud environments
• Basic understanding of Iptables, DNS fundamentals, and BIND
• Solid knowledge of network fundamentals
• Scripting experience with Shell or Python
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Customer support experience is preferred
