Role Description

As a DevOps Engineer Intern, you will support the design, deployment, and maintenance of scalable systems. This role is ideal for candidates who want practical exposure to cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and infrastructure automation in a professional engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in setting up, maintaining, and monitoring CI/CD pipelines
• Support deployment and maintenance across development, staging, and production environments
• Help manage cloud infrastructure (AWS / Azure / GCP)
• Assist with containerization using Docker and gain exposure to Kubernetes orchestration
• Participate in infrastructure automation using scripts and IaC tools
• Monitor system performance, logs, and alerts; assist in troubleshooting issues
• Support security best practices, backups, and reliability initiatives
• Document processes, configurations, and technical learnings

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 2–3 years of relevant experience (including internships, academic, or project experience)
• Basic understanding of Linux/Unix systems
• Familiarity with Git and version control concepts
• Basic knowledge of CI/CD concepts and DevOps fundamentals
• Exposure to at least one cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Basic scripting skills in Bash, Python, or similar
• Understanding of networking basics (DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, ports)
