About the Role

TransUnion is seeking a DevOps-Cloud Engineer to manage and enhance enterprise-level cloud infrastructure and deployments. You will work as part of a core team delivering microservice-based applications on Kubernetes, leveraging multi-cloud environments (AWS & Azure). This hybrid role requires hands-on experience with GCP, CI/CD, automation, and container orchestration, with opportunities to contribute to critical business services.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage Google Cloud Platform (GCP) infrastructure using Terraform.
• Automate configuration management and operational tasks using Ansible.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines following industry best practices.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues across environments.
• Deploy, manage, and scale applications on Kubernetes (GKE).
• Ensure cloud infrastructure security, networking, and IAM best practices are followed.
• Monitor systems using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenSearch.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Solid experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Experience with Ansible for automation and configuration management.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD concepts and workflows.
• Strong Linux fundamentals and scripting (Shell / Python preferred).
• Understanding of cloud networking, IAM, and security best practices.
• Good understanding of Kubernetes and containerized applications.
• Proactive, problem-solving mindset with end-to-end ownership of deployments.

Nice to Have

• Experience with HA/DR architecture in cloud environments.
• Familiarity with logging and monitoring tools such as OpenSearch, Prometheus, Grafana.
