Role Overview – GISOCC IS Infrastructure Intern

We are seeking a talented IT & Cloud Infrastructure Intern to work with Valeo’s server, network, and cloud teams. This role is ideal for candidates looking to gain hands-on experience in high-value IT infrastructure, cloud computing, and DevOps practices for enterprise-scale systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with IS engineers to deliver operational IT projects and cloud-based solutions
• Conduct quality assurance tests, debug issues, and troubleshoot deployments
• Maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and SOPs for server and cloud environments
• Assist with server management, OS administration, and cloud infrastructure support
• Support network services, DNS/DHCP/LDAP configuration, and enterprise network monitoring
• Implement automation scripts using Python or Powershell for operational efficiency
• Learn to build and manage RESTful APIs for internal IT integrations
• Gain exposure to cloud infrastructure platforms like AWS, Azure, and GCP
• Work on high-availability systems and scalable IT architecture for mission-critical operations

Required Skills & Knowledge

• Pursuing or completed Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science, IT, Cloud Computing, or related field
• Knowledge of server management, Linux & Windows OS, SQL database systems
• Understanding of network topologies, OSI model, and enterprise network protocols
• Familiarity with DNS, DHCP, LDAP, and cloud security fundamentals
• Scripting experience in Python or Powershell
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a team-oriented, multicultural environment

• Exposure to AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Basic experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud containerization
