Role Overview

Claranet is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with hands-on experience in CI/CD implementation, infrastructure automation, monitoring systems, and cloud infrastructure management.

The selected candidate will work closely with development, operations, and cloud engineering teams to design and maintain automated deployment pipelines, scalable infrastructure, and reliable cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities

CI/CD & DevOps Automation

• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated application deployments
• Improve deployment workflows and release management processes
• Implement DevOps best practices across development and operations teams

Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

• Build and manage infrastructure using Terraform
• Develop reusable infrastructure modules and automated provisioning scripts
• Maintain version-controlled infrastructure environments

Cloud Infrastructure

• Manage and optimize cloud-based infrastructure environments
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and cost efficiency of cloud resources
• Implement secure cloud architecture and best practices

Monitoring & Logging

• Implement monitoring, alerting, and logging systems
• Analyze system performance metrics and infrastructure health
• Improve observability and incident response processes

Automation & Scripting

• Automate routine operational tasks using Bash, Python, or Shell scripting
• Develop automation solutions to improve infrastructure reliability and efficiency

Technical Skills Required

DevOps & CI/CD

• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipeline implementation
• Experience with build automation and deployment workflows

Infrastructure as Code

• Strong expertise in Terraform
• Experience building automated infrastructure provisioning pipelines

Cloud Platforms

• Experience with cloud infrastructure environments
• Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform

Monitoring & Logging

• Experience with monitoring and observability tools
• Ability to analyze system logs and infrastructure metrics

Automation & Scripting

• Experience with Bash, Python, or Shell scripting
• Ability to automate infrastructure and operational tasks
