Role Overview

Gallagher is looking for a DevSecOps Trainee to join its platform engineering team. This role focuses on learning and implementing security practices within DevOps pipelines, ensuring secure and reliable software development and deployment processes.

The position offers hands-on exposure to modern DevOps tools, cloud infrastructure, and security automation practices, making it ideal for graduates interested in building careers in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Cybersecurity.

Key Responsibilities

DevSecOps Implementation

• Assist in integrating security practices into DevOps pipelines
• Support secure software development and deployment workflows

Automation & DevOps Tools

• Learn and work with modern DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines
• Assist with automation tasks in development and deployment environments

Cloud & Infrastructure

• Gain exposure to cloud platforms and infrastructure environments
• Support system reliability and secure application deployments

Collaboration

• Work with engineering teams to improve security, reliability, and efficiency
• Participate in DevOps and platform engineering initiatives

Eligibility Criteria

• Appeared or appearing in B.Tech / MCA / MSc (Computer Science) / BCA / BSc (Computer Science)
• Graduation year preferably 2024
• Minimum CGPA: 6.5

Required Skills

DevOps Fundamentals

• Basic understanding of DevOps tools and practices
• Familiarity with CI/CD concepts

Software Development Lifecycle

• Understanding of SDLC and testing methodologies

Cloud Knowledge

• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms

Soft Skills

• Strong attention to detail
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Proactive learning attitude
