Role Overview

Origin is looking for a passionate DevOps Intern who is eager to learn and work with real production systems that power robotics platforms and engineering workflows.

In this role, you will assist the engineering team in automating infrastructure, managing cloud environments, and supporting deployment pipelines used to build and operate robotic systems. You will gain hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration, and infrastructure automation.

This opportunity is ideal for candidates interested in building careers in DevOps Engineering, Cloud Infrastructure, Platform Engineering, and Robotics Systems Infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins
• Help automate build, test, and deployment workflows
• Support management of cloud infrastructure environments such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Assist in monitoring system performance and improving infrastructure reliability
• Work on containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes
• Write automation scripts using Python or Bash
• Support infrastructure provisioning using configuration management tools
• Assist with logging, monitoring, and alerting systems
• Contribute to DevOps documentation and best practices

Technical Skills Required

Operating Systems

• Basic understanding of Linux systems
• Knowledge of shell scripting

DevOps & CI/CD

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with Git-based workflows

Cloud Platforms

• Exposure to AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Microsoft Azure

Containers & Orchestration

• Experience with Docker
• Exposure to Kubernetes is a plus

Infrastructure Automation

• Basic knowledge of tools such as:
  • Terraform
  • Ansible

Monitoring & Observability

• Exposure to tools such as:
  • Prometheus
  • Grafana
  • ELK Stack

Programming / Scripting
