Role Overview

Redux is looking for a Cloud Engineer responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure across AWS and Microsoft Azure environments.

The role involves maintaining production environments, improving system reliability, building automation workflows, and supporting large distributed applications. The ideal candidate will have experience with Linux systems, cloud networking, infrastructure automation, and DevOps tools.

Key Responsibilities

Cloud Infrastructure Management

• Design and manage public and private cloud infrastructure
• Monitor production environments and ensure high system availability
• Optimize infrastructure performance and reliability

DevOps & Automation

• Develop automation strategies for deployment and infrastructure management
• Build tools and scripts to manage cloud environments
• Implement configuration management solutions

System Monitoring & Performance

• Monitor infrastructure health and optimize system performance
• Identify potential risks and improve service reliability
• Troubleshoot infrastructure incidents and maintain documentation

Application & Platform Support

• Provide operational support for large distributed applications
• Work closely with development teams on system improvements
• Manage system updates, patching, and maintenance

Operations & Support

• Maintain backup and disaster recovery processes
• Support client communication via ServiceNow
• Work in a 24/7 shift-supported environment

Technical Skills Required

Cloud Platforms

• Hands-on experience with AWS and Microsoft Azure
• Knowledge of cloud services including networking, security, load balancers, autoscaling, and monitoring

Operating Systems

• Experience installing and managing Linux servers
• Familiarity with Windows Server administration

Scripting & Automation

• Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Perl

Web & Database Services

• Knowledge of Apache, Nginx, MySQL, and PHP

Infrastructure as Code

• Familiarity with tools like Terraform or Ansible

Containers & Orchestration

• Basic understanding of Docker containers
• Exposure to orchestration tools like Kubernetes, Amazon EKS, ECS, or Azure AKS

DevOps Tools

• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
