Role Overview

The Deployment Intern will assist the engineering team with remote support for hardware installations, software setup, and troubleshooting site-level issues. This role requires coordination with design teams, project managers, and on-site engineers to ensure systems are deployed successfully.

The intern will also help with log collection, root cause analysis (RCA), documentation, and technical troubleshooting, ensuring smooth system performance and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide remote support for hardware installation and software setup activities
• Assist the on-site team during deployment and system installation
• Perform Level 1 Root Cause Analysis (L1 RCA) for site-related issues
• Collect system logs, operational data, and documentation for troubleshooting
• Coordinate with design and software engineering teams to resolve deployment issues
• Work with the project management team to update project plans
• Support technical troubleshooting and issue resolution
• Travel to deployment sites when required for on-ground coordination with engineers and customers

Technical Skills Required

Hardware & Mechanical Systems

• Knowledge of mechanical assemblies and hardware components
• Understanding of equipment installation and system deployment

Electrical Systems

• Experience with electrical wiring and troubleshooting
• Ability to diagnose basic electrical connectivity issues

Linux & System Operations

• Basic knowledge of Linux operating systems
• Ability to support system setup and troubleshooting

Networking (Good to Have)

• Basic understanding of network connectivity and system communication
• Familiarity with network troubleshooting concepts

Education

• BE / BTech in Engineering or related technical field

---

Experience Requirements

• 0 – 1 years of experience
• Internship or academic experience related to hardware systems, robotics, or deployment engineering is beneficial
